The CH24 Wishbone Chair Frame Oak was designed by Hans J. Wegner for the Danish manufacturer Carl Hansen.

This family-owned company has been at the forefront of Danish furniture design since 1908 and was instrumental in the design movement towards simple classics which is so indicative of the contemporary Danish furniture today. Hans J. Wegner has designed for Carl Hansen since 1949 and his Wishbone Chair has a classic simplicity that has proved popular since it first went into manufacture in 1950. Wegner was one of the most prolific and creative Danish furniture designers and received many awards for his work, including the Grand Prix of the Milan Triennale in 1951 and the Danish Furniture Prize in 1980.

This CH24 Wishbone Chair Frame Oak has been continuously produced since its inception in 1950 and is available in oak or beech wood. The comfortable chair has a natural cord seat and Y-shaped back. It has an elegant and timeless design, featuring a rounded back rest which ensures complete ease for any user. The armchair has a width of 55cm, height of 76cm, and depth of 51cm and looks great in any setting.
