AH501 Garden Chair

The AH501 Garden Chair has been created by Alfred Homann for the brand Carl Hansen. It is listed as a Sustainable Choice product. This is because of the FSC-certified wood it is made of that is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

The AH501 Garden Chair is made of teak. This durable type of hardwood has a natural oil content that works to keep the wood well-conditioned which in turn helps guard it against the weather elements it is exposed to. The chair has a mid-height backrest made up of a trio of horizontal bars. It has a slight backward recline on these bars. The chair also has a well-sized seat that is also made of bars running across it. The base is made of teak as well. There are four sturdy legs at each corner.

The AH501 Garden Chair has a width of 51cm, a height of 81cm and a depth of 54.5cm. It has a seating height of 45cm. The teak it is made of is untreated. It will therefore develop a patina over time. If this is not desired, the chair should be periodically treated with wood oil or wax. Padded and upholstered seat cushions and backrest cushions are available for sale separately.
