Prandina is an Italian manufacturer of high quality pendant, floor, wall, ceiling and table lamps, and was established in 1982. Exports account for 80% of sales at Prandina, because the design-producer has a presence in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and even in Asia.
Ultra stylish, functional and high quality design arePrandina’s specialities. In cooperation with well-known and young designers in the Prandina company, lamps that fit in a sophisticated atmosphere emerge. The major designers at Prandina include Mario Mengotti, Katja Hettler & Julia Tüllmann, Christian Ploderer, Theodor Neumaier and Luc Ramael.
Prandina lights come with simplicity and clarity. The company has over 30 years experience in lighting design for indoor use and has been a member of the ADI, the Association for Industrial Design, since 2005.
For Prandina functionality, simplicity, quality and durability are key. Since 2001, all products from Prandina undergo a quality control system, prescribed by the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000.
In the production of Prandina lamps, brass is mainly used. Stainless steel hardware and high-quality electronic components complete the product. The assembly and quality control of all light creations by the label is carried out by qualified staff.
The glass components of the lamps by Prandina are mostly blown by mouth and moulded by hand. For this reason, it may happen that small bubbles and streaks are visible in the glass or the glass thickness and weight of a lamp differ from others, but they do not constitute a defect but are typical characteristics of hand-blown glass. Each glass lamp by Prandina is just unique and is thus even more exclusive than it already is!
