It’s not only the young Petite Friture label itself that is a child of the 21st century. The numerous designers, artists and architects, too, who unfold their creativity in these collections are young and quite unusual. Petite Friture, which pretty much means “Chip Shop”, sees itself as an expression of Parisian zeitgeist. Ideas are sizzling until they are crisp and crunchy. Then courage flirts with modesty and playfulness makes eyes at purism.

Creation’s free spirits can unfold

The range of furniture, lamps and accessories is full of colour. Spontaneous access, which is supported by the manufacturer, should also be emphasised. Of course, much can be said about prizes won and high-flying plans. Instead, we’re sticking with individuality. Constance Guisset, the charming designer of the Vertigo pendant light for example, was not asked about design awards but about her favourite place in Paris. “Le Jardin des Plantes”, was the prompt answer because there she could wear her Vertigo lamp as a fashionable hat.

Teleportation is also an option

This is what Sam Baron, designer of the radiant Lanterna pendant light dreams of. This masterpiece, which is available in different sizes, of course, should definitely also be teleported, wherever the enchanting journey via quantum leap may lead. Sam Baron was a dreamer even as a child. Today, his visions become reality and find a place in your personal living dream.
