At first glance Denmark and Mexico may have little in common, but the label OK Design joins the best of both design worlds and supports traditional craftsmanship! In the year 2008 the label was founded in Copenhagen, at the time still under the name Oficina Kreativa.

The Acapulco Chair is one of the most popular designs OK Design have reissued. The outdoor easy chair is iconic among furniture with fifties design and is currently available online in numerous colours. The Acapulco Chairs are still manufactured in Mexico by hand – and OK Design takes a stand for fair wages and working conditions on site.

The Acapulco Chair and the Condesa Chair by OK Design is made up of a rounded metal frame with three legs, which are strung with countless durable PVC threads. In the production of the outdoor easy chairs the Danish design label also takes care to keep the threads UV-resistant and free from plasticisers (phthalates)!
