The Pirce Mini Ceiling Lamp has been created by Giuseppe Maurizio Scutella for the brand Artemide. Introduced in 2008, Pirce is an attractive and highly functional collection of interior lights, which has won both Good Design and Red Dot Awards. This entry in Scutella's range is a ceiling lamp featuring the spiral-like form which characterises Pirce, and will work well in spaces across the home.
The Pirce Mini Ceiling Lamp has a distinctive diffuser shape which resembles a helix. The strands of the helix have been formed from a series of aluminium discs which link the ceiling canopy with the lamp's luminaire. Finished in a pure white tone, the angles of the discs creates a complex interplay of brightness and shadow, while the lamp casts a gentle and glare free indirect light.
The Pirce Mini Ceiling Lamp measures 69cm wide and 36cm high and is designed to work with external dimmers if desired. The luminaire accommodates a single R7s rod bulb, which generates a colour warmth of 2950K, and will produce a relaxing effect wherever it is placed. This lamp can be used alone as a main light for small and medium sized rooms, or it can be combined with larger Pirce models if required.
