The Nesso Table Lamp was designed by Giancarlo Mattioli for the Artemide brand.

Artemide is a renowned Italian manufacturer that has won worldwide acclaim for its range of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures and systems. Awards include the Compasso d'Oro in 1995 and the European Design Prize two years later. The Italian firm also boasts two "Best of the Best" Red Dot awards and works alongside some of the world's best designers to produce some of the finest modern and classic lighting fixtures on today's market.

The Nesso Table Lamp can be found in many notable art and culture collections from New York to Montreal to Milan. The mushroom-shaped dome has become a design classic since its first appearance in 1967 and is often imitated but never bettered. The unique shape adds a warm, vibrant feel to any room, and the lamp is equally at home in the bedroom, living room or even an office. Constructed from injection-moulded ABS resin, the lamp is tough and durable and also corrosive-resistant. Compact, with a diameter of 54cm and a height of 34cm, the Nesso Table Lamp spreads light evenly, is energy efficient and carries the EN-EC seal of approval.
