Kaari REB005 Desk Clear Lacquered Oak

The Kaari REB005 Desk Clear Lacquered Oak was designed by Erwan Bouroullec and Ronan Bouroullec for the brand Artek.

Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four radical young designers. Their determination to experiment, remain at the cutting edge of technology and use innovative modern products remains a focus of the company today. The Bouroullec brothers operate out of Paris and also bring an experimental approach to  their designs, many of which have been exhibited in galleries and museums.

The desktop of the Kaari REB005 Desk Clear Lacquered Oak is made of solid oak covered in black linoleum in keeping with the designer and manufacturer's love of innovation. The desk is supported by two oak legs positioned at the back of each side of the desktop, and by a bent steel framework reaching to the front underside of the desk. The oak legs are clear-lacquered to retain the natural look of the wood. All items in the Kaari range are similarly designed - different and contemporary, at home in any professional or personal space. The Kaari REB005 Desk Clear Lacquered Oak is 150cm wide, 65cm deep and 75cm high.
