The Artek A331 pendant lamp was designed in 1953 by Alvar Aalto and is still being produced by his company Artek. This lamp was first presented as part of the interior designs of the Finnish University of Jyvaskyla. Whether on or off, the A331 pendant lamp convinces with its expressive look, which is reminiscent of a beehive. Especially nice: the six circular rings with small holes, through which the light shines. The A331 pendant lamp shines downwards, for example, over the dining table, in the living room or bedroom and provides nice mood lighting.
The body of the A331 fixture is made from painted aluminium. The pendant lamp from Artek is available in different versions: The rings are available in polished brass, chrome or painted white. For details see "product versions".
