The Italian company Opinion Ciatti is a true family business: For three generations, Opinion Ciatti has stood for innovative and stylish furniture, particularly TV and HiFi Cabinets and storage space for books. From books to building a pillar - that is, if you value stability, with the famous Ptolomeo Book Tower, one of Opinion Ciatti’s bestsellers.

10px">Shortly after its founding, Opinion Ciatti appeared at the furniture fair in Milan - at that time still under the name "Ciatti a Tavola" - furniture for the kitchen.   Characteristics from even then: All products were absolutely functional and practical, yet super stylish. Therefore, it is extremely important to Opinion Ciatti today that the products are customizable so that no loss in functionality has to be accepted. The modular nature of Opinion Ciatti’s individual collections, but also between the collections, provides various coherent optical combinations.

Under the leadership of Flavia Ciatti, Opinion Ciatti quickly developed into one of the market leaders. Flavia Ciatti always tried to establish fruitful collaborations with renowned designers, including Bruno Pozzi, Paola Navone or Christophe Pillet. Instrumental in the success of, and even within, Opinion Ciatti was the very experimental designer Bruno Rainaldi.

Opinion Ciatti also owes Bruno Rainaldi one of its bestsellers, which was even recognised with the "Compasso d'Oro Award": The Ptolomeo shelf , a book column, which is available in various sizes and designs. With Ptolomeo books can be stacked sturdily, the shelf "disappears" almost completely, to great visual effect.

Design solutions by Opinion Ciatti are imaginative and extravagant. The label constantly creates elegant and trendy looks. Such as the Tab.U collection which includes a side table and different sized stool, reminiscent of crumpled aluminium foil. Or the La Cima wardrobe consisting of woven pleated ship ropes hanging from the ceiling.

10px">Furniture by Opinion Ciatti fits well into both contemporary surroundings as well as, for example, in old style buildings. Opinion Ciatti, with its extravagant designs, gives the latter a certain sophistication.

Since 2006, Flavia's son Lapo Ciatti has brought an energy, ideas and know-how to the company. He also promotes collaboration with renowned designers and we are anxious to see what designs Opinion Ciatti will surprise us with in the future.
