Product description

The Eiermann Chair SE 68 SU Frame Black has been created by Egon Eiermann for the brand Wilde + Spieth. The late Eiermann was one of the most prominent architects in the second half of the 20th Century. His architectural works continue to be admired for their outstanding design, detail and structural clarity. Some of his most famous works are the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin and the German Embassy in Washington. When he ventured into designing furniture and accessories, the talented architect showed the same inimitable style and flair.

The Eiermann Chair SE 68 SU Frame Black is a display of his genius and originality. This 1951 stackable chair is a classic. It has stood the test of time with its unique shape and overall look of understated elegance. The 'organic' seat rests on a tubular steel frame and has a backrest made of moulded wood. It was the first chair to be made in Germany using this combination of materials. This vintage design seat is 40cm long, 44cm wide, and 79cm with a seat height of 46cm. The Eiermann Chair SE 68 SU Frame Black is a multi-purpose seat that can be used in school, cafes, halls and other commercial and social spaces.
