The Physix Office Chair Polished Base was designed in the year 2012 by Alberto Meda for the design manufacturer Vitra and provides a new way of dynamic sitting!

The name Physix says it all, this unique office swivel chair by Vitra follows the body movement of the sitting person in all directions, even diagonally! This new dynamic sitting experience is enabled by the interplay of three elements: A flexible frame construction, an elastic fabric cover, and a stabilising mechanism. The latter, integrated synchronising mechanisms, guide and regulate the motion sequence of the sitting person while leaning back in the Physix Office Swivel Chair.

Thanks to the highly stressable and uniform fabric cover that envelops both the seat and the back upholstery, the Physix Office Swivel Chair features a transparency that provides the Vitra chair with a special visual lightness.
