The luxurious Eames Wool Blanket is the creation of Charles and Ray Eames for the Swiss furniture company Vitra.

Family-owned since its inception in the 1950s, Vitra turns into reality the ideas of some of the world's best-known designers. Although most famous for their design of the Eames lounge chair, the influence of the American designers Charles and Ray Eames extends to items such as the Eames Wool Blanket, which features a pattern that the duo created in 1947.

Crosses and dots come together in an abstract composition that ensures that the Eames Wool Blanket is a work of art in its own right. Crafted using time-honoured Jacquard weaving techniques, it is made from 100% merino wool, which is well-recognised for its softness, light weight and superb heat-retention.
