The Ball Clock Nelson has been created by George Nelson for the brand Vitra. The 1948 timepiece brings a space to life with its bright colours and whimsical design. It is a representation of the exuberance and vibrancy of the era when it was designed. The blueprint is inspired by the starburst and asterisk symbols which were a popular motif in the year the clock was designed.

The Ball Clock Nelson has a round wooden face. It is in the centre of a similarly shaped frame that has long metallic stems with coloured balls made of wood at the end of each one. Its hands are just as colourful. They have coloured ends in different shapes as well. They are relied on for telling time because the clock does not have numbers. It uses high-quality quartz clock movement and is powered by a battery.

The Ball Clock Nelson has a diameter of 33cm. It is available in various finishes. There is the option of clocks with faces in neutral colours and balls that are multi-coloured or that have a single colour. There are also clocks with brightly coloured faces and balls that have matching colours. Whichever one is hung up, it will add cheer and vibrancy to the space.
