Momento JH40 Vase

The Momento JH40 Vase has been created by Jaime Hayon for the brand &Tradition. Its unusual design as well as its unique functionality set it apart from other vases.

The Momento JH40 Vase is made of ceramic. It stands out from the rest with a bowl at the top instead of the typical open-mouth design. It has a round opening in the middle where flowers are placed along with water to keep them fresh. From here, it broadens out into a curved body. It gradually tapers towards the base but still remains broad enough to provide steady support. On the sides, it has rounded handles that make it easy to lift and carry the vase. Its innovative shape is achieved with a technique known as slip-cast glazing. It is one where a slip made of clay is put in a plaster mould so that it forms a layer. When it is taken out, it has taken on the desired shape.

The Momento JH40 Vase has a width of 19cm, a height of 27cm and a depth of 15cm. It is available in neutral colours that make the flowers and greenery displayed really pop. It will also make a beautiful, functional gift.
