Stone Pestle and Mortar

This classic and functional Stone Pestle and Mortar was created by Tom Dixon for his own London-based design company.

Tom Dixon is a renowned UK design and manufacturing firm that was established in 2002 to create homeware inspired by the country's rich heritage. The label's eponymous founder first emerged onto the international design stage in the 1980s, when he created such iconic items as the S-Chair for the legendary Italian label Cappellini. A succession of outstanding creations followed, including the Jack light, the unique illuminated chair made from polypropylene. Dixon is also a a restaurateur and items such as his Stone Spice Grinder and Pestle and Mortar convey the value that stylish, well-crafted accessories bring to any kitchen.

With a mortar crafted from solid brass and white Morwad marble pestle, the Stone Pestle and Mortar is the ideal tool to grind up pastes and spices.
