Take Away Service Tray

The stylish and highly-functional Take Away Service Tray was designed for the leading furniture and accessory producer Stelton by the award-winning Danish designer Klaus Rath.

After graduating from Denmark's School of Architecture in Århus and studying industrial design, Klaus Rath collaborated with a myriad of premium producers, designing items from cookware to barbeques to wood burners. Unsurprisingly, Rath's inspirational designs that marry function with art have brought wide recognition, both in Europe and further afield. Consequently, the designer has received a host of awards, including the G-Mark Design Award, the IF Design Award and the CES Innovation Award.

Constructed from stainless steel and ABS, the Take Away Service Tray combines practicality with clean and sharp design. The sturdy handle ensures that items of food can be transported safely; it is retractable when required but can be concealed in the tray when not being used. The handle is coated with foam for ease of use and a sturdy grip, and a silicone pad can be found at the base of the tray to ensure that items of food or liquids do not slip when they are being carried. The tray measures 47 x 31 cm.
