Product description

This dangling Secto 4200 Suspension Lamp was created by Seppo Koho for leading design company Secto Design.

Secto Design began with the simple realisation that there were almost no well-designed wooden lamps on the market. The Secto 4200 Suspension Lamp was Koho's first creation for the company and is still the backbone of its collection, occupying space and providing light to homes, hotels, restaurants and other elegantly decorated environments all over the globe.

The lamp's design and high-grade Finnish timber combine to allow for a diffuse light that passes through the sides of the lamp, even as the main aperture allows full light to escape from the base of the lamp. The interplay of light allows the lamp to stand out and create a truly unique aesthetic within a room. Birch and high-grade metal are used for the construction of the lamp, and the craftsmanship is backed up by the local masters that work with the small scale design house. The lamp is 60cm high and 30cm in diameter, meaning it is large enough to attract attention but compact enough that it can be paired with others of its kinds to create a truly impressive and imposing spectacle that creates a relaxed ambience in larger rooms.
