Honey Blanket

The lovely Honey Blanket was designed by Lina Rickardsson for the Swedish manufacturer pappelina.

This is a brand that was founded by Lina, who started weaving hand-made rugs when she was just 24. The name pappelina is a mix of the words 'linen' and 'paper' and also incorporates Lina's name. She has created many innovative and award-winning rugs, including ones made of plastic and ones using a jacquard technique. She aims to create products that are simple, stylish and functional. Her Honey Blanket was inspired by nature's geometric patterns seen in a honeycomb.

The bedspread is made from a mix of 50% lambswool and 50% cotton chenille. The edging is made from unbleached cotton ribbon. The blanket measures 180 x 140 cm, but slight deviations may occur due to the natural craft processes used in the weaving. It should be hand washed or dry cleaned. It is available in a choice of four colour options, all using the same vanilla shade for the honeycomb pattern. This beautiful and practical piece is soft, cosy and can be used as a throw or bedspread. The super soft material makes it a wonderful choice for snuggling on the sofa.
