Its design is inspired by classic futon beds that are built to provide comfort while maintaining a look of simple elegance. This bed has a fitted frame with slats that interlock with very high precision. It is built such that the mattress is recessed which adds another subtle aesthetic detail. Another detail is the legs which have straight lines that contrast with round gliders. The mitre joints are another decorative detail that also gives the bed a clean, neat look.
