The wonderful Ptolomeo X4 A Book Stand is a product by designer Bruno Rainaldi for the Italian manufacturer Opinion Ciatti. It is part of the famous and award winning Ptolomeo collection, winner of the Compasso d'oro 2004.

The Ptolomeo X4 A displayed here features no special bookends and thus can be used for books as well as CDs. The bookcase can be rotated around its axis 360° and is available in different sizes and versions please see the "available product types" for details .

Its structure and shelves are made of black or white sheet steel, the basis of glossy steel. The capacity of the Ptolomeo X4 A is enormous, for it can hold about 30 books or 80 CDs per shelf: For 8 shelves that amounts to 240 books or 680 CDs, for 15 shelves you get 420 books or 1190 CDs in total! The distance between the shelves measures 26 cm each.

The Ptolomeo X4 is also available in other versions with a varying number and type of shelves: Ptolomeo X4 B and Ptolomeo X4 C.

We also carry the Ptolomeo Book Stand in other versions with different heights or for the wall as the Ptolomeo Wall. All products from the Ptolomeo collection can be found in the "collection"! Slide-in shelves are available as accessory.
