Product description

The Birdy Wall Lamp S was created by Birger Dahl for the brand Northern.

The wall lamp is part of a series designed in 1952 in a modernist style that earned the highly coveted and esteemed Golden Medal Award at the Milan Triennale. In 2013, Northern decided to relaunch this classic series.

The body of the The Birdy Wall Lamp S is made of steel and its shade is formed from aluminium. This distinctive luminaire is 31.5cm in length, 12.5cm in width, 19cm heigh and has a 200cm long cable. The Birdy Wall Lamp S weighs 0.8kg with the shorter version weighing 0.7kg. Available in different colours, this light fixture is compatible with bulbs of the energy classes A++ - E and requires an E27/7W bulb with an A++ energy efficiency rating that is sold separately and can be found via the accessories tab. The Lamp is VDE Seal, Italian Seal and CE marks approved and is insulation class 1 and protection class IP20. The lamp has a GB plug as well as a switch.
