Product description

The stylish Oona Carpet 140x140cm was designed by Simon Legald for the Danish manufacturing label Normann.

Legald graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. His designs incorporate the techniques that are necessary to create the product by visually highlighting them within the finished piece. Normann is a Copenhagen-based company that works with designers to create simple and contemporary designs that are able to withstand the test of time.

The Oona Carpet 140x140cm is from a range of three hand-knotted carpets that have a simple yet elegant feel. Clean lines and soft curves combine to create a shape that is not quite round but not square either. The decorative shape of the carpet is broken up by a sharp line across the middle that accentuates the shape and contrasts vividly with the soft round edges.

The Oona Carpet 140x140cm is created using 100% luxurious New Zealand wool that is knotted by hand to create the opulent deep pile and the shorter pile of the contrasting stripe. The carpet is available in multiple colours, allowing you to chose one that best suits your interior design colour scheme.
