The Material The Originals Table Lamp Oak has been created by Martin Kechayas and Christian Nørgaard for the brand New Works. Materials started out as a pendant lamp and became one of New Works ' most famous creations. Now, it has become a dazzling table lamp which makes creative use of familiar materials.
In this case, the designers of the Material The Originals Table Lamp Oak have used natural oak wood in a strikingly original way. The tapered shade of the lamp is made from veneered wood, retaining its original grain and adding a shiny gleam to the surface. This makes a wonderful counterpart to the brightness of the light source, which directs a beam directly downwards. The brightness can be modulated via a three stage dimmer which can be controlled via a switch on the rounded base.
The Material The Originals Table Lamp Oak complements that oak shade with a refined black steel frame, and the shade can pivot into whatever position makes the most sense. The lamp measures 19cm wide, 25cm deep and 45cm high, and weighs just 3kg. The appropriate bulb with an E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
