The Tres Wool Felt Carpet 200x300cm was designed by Nani Marquina for her own Nanimarquina label. As with all of the label's carpet creations, it combines luxurious softness with the durability provided by age-old Asian spinning techniques.

Nani Marquina has become one of the world's greatest carpet designers. She founded her self-titled label back in 1987, starting out with a very clear aim: to share the qualities of handspun carpetry with everyday consumers. Having witnessed first hand what Asian craft specialists could create, Marquina sought to bring this to the attention of the design world, and she has certainly succeeded.

The Nanimarquina collection features a huge range of rug designs by artists and Marquina herself. The Tres Wool Felt Carpet 200x300cm is a fine example, with its complex array of grey tones and different striped patterns. Made from New Zealand wool, every single square inch of this rug has been handmade with the utmost care, resulting in a fine weave and strong finish that isn't possible with mass produced alternatives.

Each Tres Wool Felt Carpet 200x300cm measures 200 x 300 cm and is just 0.6cm wide - so you can easily roll it up and deploy it wherever you desire.
