They are lightweight, and slim in height, but also very hard-wearing and easy to maintain. This carpet is a hand-loomed dhurrie. This means that it has a flat surface that is knotless. This is formed by crossing the weft and warp strands over each other. With this weaving technique, both strands are equally prominent. They are spaced evenly and have equal visibility.
