The Oblique Wool Carpet 170x240cm has been created by Matthew Hilton for the brand Nanimarquina. Its design combines tradition and modernity in a simple, refined style that makes it timeless.

The Oblique Wool Carpet 170x240cm is made of 100% hand-spun Afghan wool. It is of premium quality with high density which makes it tough and hardwearing. In addition to being resistant to wear and tear, it has a natural oil content that gives it a soft, smooth texture. Its strength is enforced by hand spinning which has depth and texture because of the varied thickness of manually twisted fibres. The Oblique is a Persian Sumak rug handwoven carpet. Sumak rugs resemble kilims but are stronger and thicker. This rug has an overlaying pattern that makes it stand out. This is attained by juxtaposing interesting geometric shapes. It is differentiated with a contrasting pile height from the rest of the carpet.

The Oblique Wool Carpet 170x240cm has a length of 240cm, a width of 170cm and a height of 2.9cm. It is available in neutral and bright colours and is monochromatic. The carpet should be cared for with frequent vacuum cleaning. When it needs a deeper clean, it should be taken to a dry cleaner rather than be washed with water which can cause shrinkage.
