The Morning Asphalt Rectangle Carpet has been created by Moooi Carpets for the brand Moooi Carpets. The design is inspired by the way the horizon looks in the morning as the sun begins to rise. The first rays of the sun are depicted with light tones while the last of dusk are represented by cool, dark tones.

The Morning Asphalt Rectangle Carpet has imagery that looks so vibrant because it is made of polyamide. It is a type of nylon that is preferred over others for its resilience. When it comes to carpets, it is favoured for the way it takes ink. Printing is done digitally using a Chromojet printer that replicates images exactly as they are in the source file. The printer's inkjets and other settings are computer-controlled which makes it possible to program them to select colour tones and other specifics with precision. The inkjets dispense ink right where it is needed in the fabric without making any contact.

The Morning Asphalt Rectangle Carpet comes in a smaller size that has a length of 300cm and a width of 200cm and a larger one that has a length of 400cm and a width of 300cm. It is available in blue and brown.
