The Morning Asphalt Carpet has been created by Moooi Carpets for the brand Moooi Carpets. The carpet's design depicts the beginning of a new day. The sun rising in the distance is represented by light tones while the cool of night that is slowly fading away is portrayed with white and blue tones.

The Morning Asphalt Carpet has an image that is so realistic because it is made of polyamide. This synthetic fabric is a type of nylon that is the most commonly used. One reason for this is that it is considered the most resilient which guarantees that a carpet will last a long time. It is also preferred for making carpets because it takes ink very well which gives the printed images a lifelike quality. This result is elevated by the 3D printing that is done using a Chromojet printer. This printer's high resolution has transformed industrial printing with its high-resolution output. The computer's settings and inkjets are controlled digitally which makes it possible to select colour tones very precisely and to inject ink into the fabric with equal precision.

The Morning Asphalt Carpet comes with a diameter of 250cm or 350cm. It comes in shades of blue and brown.
