The Mia Armchair was designed by Francesco Bettoni for furniture brand MDF Italia.

Bettoni has worked on a freelance basis since 1992 as a consultant and designer. His Italian flair for style is seen in bold structural elements, clean lines and the use of high quality materials. His furniture pieces bring an air of effortless sophistication and exclusivity and focus on delivering aesthetic appeal without compromising on functionality or comfort. Bettoni has won several design awards including the ICFF Award and ADI Design Index Award.

The Mia Armchair has a stylishly bold design that catches the eye and complements any indoor space including living rooms and bedrooms. Constructed in a mix of solid and multi-layered wood, elastic straps are cleverly used with the frame to provide sumptuous comfort, while the contrasting edge-highlights lend the chair a contemporary chic vibe. As the polyurethane foam upholstery is supportive and easy to keep clean, this chair is ideal for use in high traffic indoor spaces.
