Product description

The Air Chair has been created by Jasper Morrison for the brand Magis. British designer Morrison considers himself to be primarily a conceptual designer. His approach is to take the typical and the banal and reimagine them into novel contrivances with all new shapes and forms. That is how the Air Chair came to be. It is manufactured with air-moulding technology that gives it a hollow core and makes the chair lightweight yet strong and durable. It is made of long-lasting and weatherproof polypropylene. For this chair, Morrison redesigned the classic chair into one with a backrest that is curved so that it cradles the back and a square-shaped seat that is slightly raised at the sides. The shell sits on a frame made of the same material, with legs that are tubular and angled outwards at the back.

The Air Chair has a width of 49cm, a height of 77.5cm and a depth of 51cm. It has a seat height of 47cm and a backrest height of 78cm. It is stackable for easy and convenient storage. It is available in a selection of colours including neutral ones and bold, bright ones.
