Product description

The Nyhavn Outdoor Wall Lamp has been created by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær for the brand Louis Poulsen. The Danish design duo designed the lamp for a competition run by Louis Poulsen. They won the competition and the hearts of many with the unique Nyhavn Outdoor Wall Lamp. One of its most distinct features is its cone-shaped shade. The inside of the spun aluminum shade has a white matte finish which ensures that light is distributed evenly. Another outstanding feature is a trio of anti-glare, die cast aluminum rings with glass inside that cast a soft, direct light upwards. Apart from being an aesthetic feature, the rings also make sure that stray light is controlled and that some of the light is directed to the upper part of the shade for self-illumination. The straight wall arm mounted in a circular wall box holds the fixture. The arm is made of copper plating, red brass or steel with a white wet-painted finish. The shade has a brushed copper or white finish.

The Nyhavn Outdoor Wall Lamp has a width of 31cm, a height of 21.5cm and a depth of 44.5cm. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
