The Lamella 4 Suspension Lamp was designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi for the brand Le Klint.
Le Klint is a Danish furniture and lighting company that was founded in 1943 by the architect Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint, who named it after his daughter Lise Le Charlotte Klint. The company is known for manufacturing lampshades out of folded and pleated papers, a design invented by Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint and patented in 1938.
Among the various lighting options the company offers is the Lamella 4 Suspension Lamp, a luminaire made of sturdy and durable plastic and aluminium. The Lamella 4 Suspension Lamp has a suspension height of 300cm, a height of 28cm and a diameter of 21cm, making it ideal for most rooms provided it is strategically placed. The lamp also comes with a diffuser that has a diameter of 21cm, ensuring an effective distribution of illumination. It has a single A+ energy-efficient LED bulb and so is less of a drain on resources while still producing plenty of light. The filament of the LED bulb is replaceable.
