The Maui Armchair has been created by Vico Magistretti for the brand Kartell. Light-hearted and elegant, the Maui Armchair is a classic Magistretti design. Introduced in 1996, it continues to enchant with its combination of colour, curves, and minimalist style.
At heart, this Maui Armchair has a conventional format, featuring four metallic legs and a one-piece main shell. But little details matter a lot. For example, Magistretti has added a hook to the back of the shell. This connects multiple Maui Chairs together, making it much simpler to stack them without risking scuffing or other damage. The arms of the chair also impress, with special rests to ensure extra comfort when sitting for long periods.
The main frame of the Maui Armchair has been made from slender steel tubing, while the shell and armrests have been formed from polypropylene plastic. Various colour schemes are available for users to choose, and it could be fun to mix and match a few options to add energy to the home. The Maui Armchair measures 77cm tall, 58cm wide and 52cm deep. The seat stands 45cm from the ground, and the armrests are positioned at a height of 66cm - perfect for the bodies of most sitters.
