The Type Outdoor Chair has been designed by Jonas Trampedach for the brand HAY. The chair is a standalone piece, named and designed for the idea of an archetypal chair. Familiar and yet characterful, this luxurious HAY chair is ideal for all domestic and public environments and qualified for contract use.

The Type Outdoor Chair is expertly crafted from aluminium which has been finished with a protective silicone coating for a smooth surface and weather protection. The legs are made from 30 mm tubular aluminium, the seat is made from a single sheet of aluminium and the back is made with extruded metal. The Type Outdoor Chair is stackable and lightweight, and its simple, classic design makes it easy to incorporate into any outdoor design scheme. The chair has a width of 47.5cm, a height of 78.5cm and a depth of 47.5cm. The seat height is 46cm and the weight is 4.4kg.

This Type Outdoor Chair is also notable for being the first chair that HAY has made using aluminium. It also comes with felt gliders to protect floors. Pair it with accessory seat pads and cushions from the brand's complementary range for added comfort.
