Product description

The Rey Bar Chair 75cm has been created by HAY for the brand HAY. Working with contemporary designers and bringing back iconic pieces from decades ago has enabled the Danish brand to create a vast and diversified collection.

One of the most popular and sought-after pieces from the past is the Rey Bar Chair 75cm.It is based on the Rey chair designed by the late Swiss industrial designer Bruno Rey. Originally known as the 3300 Chair, it was made using pioneering no screws metal to wood joining. Later, production was finished using aluminium pressure die casting which allowed for mass production. In the re-issue completed in collaboration with Dietiker, most of the original features of the chair have been maintained. The bar chair has a round seat made of die-cast aluminium that sits on a frame made of beech wood. It has a low curved backrest and slat-shaped legs with gliders underneath. A ring made of chromed steel forms a footrest.

The Rey Bar Chair 75cm has a width of 44cm, a height of 97cm and a depth of 49.5cm. It has a seat height of 75cm. It is available in scarlet red, slate blue, deep black, and golden.
