The Rebar Coffee Table 80x49cm has been created by Sylvain Willenz for the brand HAY. Rebar is a collection of interior tables which are inspired by the materials used for construction projects. In this case, Willenz has used the rough texture and strength of rebar - metal rods used to reinforce concrete. The outcome is a table that fuses industrial aesthetics and refinement.

The Rebar Coffee Table 80x49cm has a rectangular profile with a table top that measures 80cm long and 49cm wide. Willenz has elected to use black marble for the surface, allowing the white veins of the stone to shine through, while keeping the edges clear to create a bold silhouette. Underneath the marble surface is a four-legged base with cross supports. This base has been crafted from robust steel to support the stone table top, and the surface of each rod has been ribbed to complete the resemblance to rebar.

Imaginatively styled and extremely strong, the Rebar Coffee Table 80x49cm will add a distinctive accent to living rooms, hallways and even bedrooms. The surface of the table has been placed at a height of 40.5cm, making it ideal for use as a coffee table with armchairs or sofa suites.
