The stylishly functional lines of the Palissade chair were designed by the Parisian brothers Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec for the leading home furnishings firm HAY.

The Bouroullec brothers have been designing together for over twenty years, and in that time, they have built a formidable reputation for the quality of their work. They've designed for some of the world's highest quality firms after getting their break designing a boutique for Issey Miyake, and their work is housed in the permanent collections of design and modern art museums from Paris to New York. their work is characterised by a rigorous approach to design and functionality, tempered by a great respect for line and beauty.

These qualities are manifest in the Palissade Chair. This outside chair has austere good looks. A straight back subtly curves into the seat. And being constructed of 100% powder coated steel, you can be sure that it's sturdy and durable. An essential chair for a chic garden, it's ideal for a stylish table arrangement, its clean lines matching well with a simple, uncluttered table. This 80cm high by 47cm wide chair is also stackable, adding convenience to its utility and aesthetic appeal.
