Product description

The Apollo Chandelier has been created by Studio 0405 for the brand HAY. It stands out with its combination of industrial and contemporary materials. It is the designer's take on the traditional chandelier.

The Apollo Chandelier has mini shades made of mouth-blown opal glass. It is finished with a light-coloured paint. They are perched on industrial-style curved arms made of anodised extruded aluminium with a matte finish. Each one is curved and the cluster of them creates a picture of old-school charm. They are all attached to a sturdy cable made of translucent PVC in the middle. it goes up into a round canopy that secures it to the ceiling and conceals the wiring.

The Apollo Chandelier is available in two sizes. The smaller one that works well in mid-sized spaces has six arms. It has a diameter of 74.5cm and a height of 36cm. The larger one has 12 arms. It has a diameter of 106.5cm and a height of 54cm. It is best for a larger room because it casts light across a large diameter which may feel overwhelming in a smaller space. Its cable has a length of 600cm. The chandelier cannot be dimmed. It works with a G9 socket and the bulbs have to be purchased separately.
