The Bestlite BL1 Table Lamp Frame Brass table lamp was designed in 1930 by Robert Dudley Best. Back then this table lamp was Britain's first example for the Bauhaus style, which is why convincing reasons were necessary before it could go into production. The Bestlite only experienced its breakthrough, when Winston Churchill put one on his desk in the Whitehall.
