Product description

The Beetle Ottoman has been created by GamFratesi for the brand Gubi. It is part of a wide collection of chairs that are built around the look of a beetle. Its features are formulated to replicate the shape of the insect.

The Beetle Ottoman has a rectangular seat. It is arched along the longer edges which mimics the back of a beetle. It has an inner shell made of wood. It is padded with CMHR foam, a type that is highly resilient and fire-retardant. It is covered with polyester wadding. This is concealed beneath upholstery. The ottoman comes in a smooth or Boucle fabric that has a curly, looped texture. It is finished with binding around the edges that reinforces the upholstery and adds a subtle decorative detail. The base also mimics the look of the beetle. It is made of steel shaped into narrow rods which imitate the insect's thin legs. They are finished with gliders underneath.

The Beetle Ottoman has a width of 60cm, a height of 40cm and a depth of 45cm. Its seat height is 38cm. It is available in both neutral and bright colours that can be chosen to match or contrast the different types of chairs available in the collection.
