Spin Floor Lamp

The Spin Floor Lamp was designed by Michael Sodeau for the brand Gervasoni.

The British designer has collaborated with the successful family-owned Italian manufacturer to produce a lamp that conforms to Gervasoni's commitment to eco-sustainability principles and to beauty combined with artfulness.

The design of this Spin Floor Lamp is ethereal, with a narrow tubular base morphing into the enclosed extruded sphere that encloses the light bulb, before tapering to a close at the top. The rattan of which the lamp is made provides a gentle pattern of light as well as a pleasing concentration of light below the lamp through a circular portal in the side. The design is extraordinary and sophisticated, and will be at home in any room in the home with the space or the need for a statement source of light. The Spin Floor Lamp is available in a range of heights: 228cm, 190cm and 152cm indicated by the suffixes L, M and S respectively . The material, in all cases, is rattan, retained in its natural colour.
