Brass 96 Suspension Lamp

This Brass 96 Suspension Lamp was designed by Paola Navone for the Italian label Gervasoni.

Gervasoni has a long history of producing innovative products in its plant in northern Italy. Originally established in 1882 to create wicker items, the firm expanded into creating distinctive mesh furniture crafted from rattan, abaca, rush and bamboo, using iron and aluminium frames. A fertile collaboration with leading designers resulted in the creation of items such as dining tables, rocking chairs, armchairs, sofas, beds, desks and armchairs that are both striking in style and a delight to use. The firm also makes outdoor furniture that reflects the Italian lifestyle.

The striking Brass 96 Suspension Lamp features a distinctively shaped shade made from hammered brass with a matte finish. An eyelet on the top allows the lamp to be easily hung. The unit measures 15cm in height with a diameter of 120cm, while a generous cable length of 300cm enables flexible positioning. With its strikingly attractive shade, the Brass 96 Suspension Lamp makes a lovely focal point in a home. It also works beautifully as task lighting positioned over a table or kitchen countertop, or as ambient lighting suspended near a couch or dining room table.
