Product description

The Serie 7™ Chair Dyed Ash Chromed Base has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. The late Danish architect and industrial designer Jacobsen is remembered for pioneering Danish modernism. Many of his designs went on to become icons that are still valued and sought after today. The Serie 7™ Chair Dyed Ash Chromed Base is one such piece. The 1952 chair is made using veneering technology that was new back then. Pressure-moulded veneer is carefully selected and cut by hand. This makes it possible to get the chair's shape perfectly right. It has a wide backrest that narrows down and then broadens out to form a well-sized seat. The chair was designed to complement the human form. The seat has rounded edges that enhance the chair's comfort. The chair rests on a frame made of tubular chromed steel. The legs, which are angled outwards for added stability, have gliders underneath.

The Serie 7™ Chair Dyed Ash Chromed Base has a width of 50cm, a height of 82cm and a depth of 52cm. It has a seat height of 46cm and a backrest height of 82cm. The chair is available in a series of colours that range from neutral to bold and bright.
