Hideout Floor Lamp

The Hideout Floor Lamp was designed by the in-house studio for the brand Frandsen.

Frandsen is a Danish label which has been operating since 1968. Seeking to capture the best aspects of modern Scandinavian design, the company specialises in lighting and lamps in particular - all of which are aesthetically accomplished, easy to use, and superbly durable. The Hideout Floor Lamp is an excellent example of these themes.

Sleek, minimalist, and full of neat technical touches, the Hideout Floor Lamp blends into its surroundings beautifully, hiding away in readiness for those moments when users need a bit of extra illumination. This luminaire has a flattened conical diffuser made from fabric stretched across a slender metal frame. The diffuser efficiently casts a downward-facing light, while the lamp as a whole measures 168cm tall, 30cm wide, and 38cm deep. The Hideout Floor Lamp comes with a handy 400cm cable, enabling flexible positioning anywhere in the home, and it has the kind of modest style that will suit living rooms, bedrooms - or anywhere else where main lights need to be supplemented. The lamp takes a single energy efficient E27 halogen bulb which can be swapped out as needed.
