Product description

The Gem Ceiling Lamp has been created by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba for the brand Foscarini. It really is a gem in terms of the visual impact it has in a room. It is a Sustainable Choice product.

The Gem Ceiling Lamp has a spherical-shaped shade made of hand-blown glass. It has an intriguing look and feel created by a process known as stationary moulding where glass is blown into an etched mould. It imprints intersecting diagonal and horizontal lines in it that create an intriguing pattern of light and shadows when the lamp is turned on. The shade has a ring nut at the top that attaches it securely to the ceiling. This does away with the need for a suspension cable which lets the intricately designed shade steal the show. The lamp casts soft, diffused indirect light via an LED E27 bulb. Its intensity can be adjusted via TRIAC-powered technology.

The Gem Ceiling Lamp has a height of 39cm and a diameter of 43cm. It comes in neutral colours that will work with any existing pieces or interior design theme.
