Aplomb Mini Suspension Lamp

The Aplomb Mini Suspension Lamp has been created by Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere for the brand Foscarini. Working under the name of Lucidi, the Pevere design duo strives to come up with designs that are all their own in terms of visual appeal. Optimised functionality is also an important consideration. They outdid themselves in satisfying these criteria with the Aplomb Mini Suspension Lamp. Made of concrete that is formulated specifically for the lamp, it has a funnel shape with an opening on the lower end that houses the light source. The concrete is poured into mounds that give the lamp its upturned funnel shape. A galvanized metal bracket at the top contrasts strikingly with the concrete body of the lamp. The metallic bracket covers the wiring and a canopy does the same at the top.

The Aplomb Mini Suspension Lamp has a height of 21cm and a diameter of 11.5cm. These lamps are available with different suspension heights and in a choice of colours that are created by adding pigment to the cement. The lamps come with a choice of metallic bracket for matching or contrasting. The appropriate bulb with the GU 10 socket can be ordered under accessories.
