Tropico Media LED Table Lamp

The Tropico Media LED Table Lamp has been created by Gabriele e Oscar Buratti for the brand Fontana Arte. With its contrasting materials and seductive glow, Tropico reflects Fontana Arte 's quest to create lamps which use glass in creative ways. In this case, the designers have sought to play with the 'shape of light', using geographical motifs to dazzle the eye.

The Tropico Media LED Table Lamp has a playful mushroom-shaped form with a bowl shaped diffuser and a cylindrical base. The base has been made from attractively grained marble, and it sits elegantly alongside the blown glass diffuser. A metallic disc at the peak of the lamp fixes the shade in place, while the lamp casts a soft, glare-free light across nearby surfaces. It will work well on bedroom cabinets, work desks and living room coffee tables.

The Tropico Media LED Table Lamp stands 32.2cm high and the diffuser has a 36cm diameter. It can be easily grasped and carried via the marble base, which also connects to a black power cable. This cable contains the on/off switch, and this switch also performs a dimmer function. The lamp has a built-in LED light source that cannot be replaced.
