Product description

The Taccia LED Table Lamp from Flos was originally designed in the 1950s by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The Italian brothers studied architecture and industrial design; Achille went on to teach and research new materials and design techniques. He won many awards and his work is displayed in museums around the world. Here, Flos breathes new life into this classic table lamp. The lighting company was founded over 50 years ago and its 'Flosophy' is to be experimental and at the forefront of technology.

The timeless design of the Taccia LED Table Lamp is just as fresh today as it was in the 50s. With an Art Deco flair in the ridged base that stands in contrast to the smooth curve of the shade, the lamp has an outstanding aesthetic. At a height of 54cm, the Taccia LED Table Lamp is a real focal point and it can also be used as a floor lamp next to low-level seating.

The base is constructed from anodised aluminium, with a chrome ring and mouth-blown glass. The base diameter is 19cm and the shade is 49.5cm in diameter.
