The String Lights LED Suspension Lamp was designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos. Cypriot designer Anastassiades designs lighting, furniture and jewellery with a unique minimal, utilitarian aesthetic. His pared-back design ethos works perfectly with the Flos outlook of functional, boundary-pushing lighting.
With a bold monochrome look, the String Lights LED Suspension Lamp is effortless yet eye-catching. The String Lights range gets its name from the extra long cable attached to each light, and they are available in either a 12m or 22m version. The length allows for creative installation, which transforms the cable from a pure necessity into a thing of beauty. Attach the cable to the walls and ceiling horizontally, vertically or diagonally to create abstract shapes and fill the empty space of a room. When grouped together the lights can be placed at various heights to add further visual appeal.
The shade of the String Lights LED Suspension Lamp is made from aluminium and polycarbonate. It is available in a conical or spherical shape, both have a diameter of 19cm and the conical lamp is 16cm high. The lamp has a dimmer.
